Assistant Manager – Sea Freight Document & Traffic (Import – Export)

Responsibilities
  • Supervise end-to-end ocean freight operations (FCL, LCL, Import & Export)
  • Lead the Customer Service team handling import and export ocean freight shipment
  • Maintain strong relationships with port authorities, terminals, and trucking partners
  • Ensure all operations comply with carrier requirements, trade regulations, customs rules, and internal SOP
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Min. 7 years in ocean freight operations (Export & Import)
  • Min. 3 years of experience at managerial level
  • Ability to lead a team of 20-30 personnel
  • Proficient in export & import processes and documentation
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation (PPJK certificate is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, risk management, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Execute managerial performance, process development, and omnichannel communication
