This is not a servicing-only Account Manager role.
This role is 80–90% new business–driven, with ownership over:
Converting conversations into paid work
Expanding accounts once landed
You will act as a Client Partner — someone who understands creative, can sell ideas and solutions, and is comfortable operating in ambiguous, competitive environments.
If you are looking for a role that is mostly coordination or internal traffic — this is not it.
Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities (brands, marketing teams, decision makers)
Lead discovery conversations with brand and marketing stakeholders
Translate client problems into clear creative / campaign proposals
Work with internal teams to shape scopes, timelines, and pricing
Close projects and retain ownership of the client relationship
Act as the main point of contact for clients you bring in
Manage expectations, scope changes, and commercial discussions
Ensure campaigns are delivered on brief, on time, and to standard
Partner with strategy, creative, and execution teams to deliver results
Identify opportunities to expand scope within existing accounts
Proactively recommend new ideas, formats, and campaigns
Build long-term trust as a strategic partner — not just a vendor
4–8 years experience in:
Integrated marketing agencies
Brand / content / social agencies
Proven experience bringing in new business (projects, retainers, campaigns)
Comfortable pitching ideas, not just executing briefs
Able to operate with limited structure and high ownership
Experience selling into brands that already have agencies
Background in digital, social, or content-led campaigns
Commercial instinct: understands pricing, margins, and scope control
Familiarity with fast-paced or startup-like agency environments
