About Us

Kayutek Pte Ltd is a leader in sustainable, engineered timber construction materials. We are a mass timber engineering and construction company, designing, producing, and installing structures made of engineered Glued-laminated timber (Glulam). Our main office is in Singapore.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Development professional based in Jakarta to grow Kayutek’s sales pipeline and convert opportunities into signed projects. This role is client-facing and requires strong relationship-building skills and comfort operating in the construction ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities for Kayutek’s products and services in Indonesia.
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Drive early-stage engagement to position engineered timber solutions and secure project interest.
  • Own opportunity progression: qualification, follow-ups, stakeholder mapping, and closing actions.
  • Coordinate proposal development with Singapore HQ (commercial inputs, timelines, clarifications).
  • Coordinate technical inputs from Kayutek’s engineering team to support client decisions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasting.
  • Track market intelligence (projects, competitors, partners) and share insights with HQ.
  • Support marketing initiatives and represent Kayutek at relevant industry events.
Key Requirements
  • Experience: 3–7 years in business development / sales within construction, building materials, or engineering services.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and close deals in a project-based sales environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with structured sales process and CRM discipline.
  • Good understanding of the construction value chain (developer–consultant–main contractor–subcontractors).
  • Personality: Friendly, open, and approachable, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Passionate about sustainability and innovative construction practices.
  • Driven and independent, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Other Requirements: Based in Jakarta, with the ability to travel within Indonesia as required.
