A leading mining company in Indonesia is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and build strong client relationships. The successful candidate will execute market expansion plans, negotiate contracts with mine owners, and oversee mineral trading activities. With a minimum of 8 years' experience in the mining sector, including 5 years in business development, you will lead a high-performing team while ensuring effective collaboration across the business chain. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination across the full business chain — from development to implementation and transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute market expansion plans aligned with company strategy.
Build partnerships with Indonesian mine owners and lead business negotiations.
Spearhead early-stage development of mining contracting projects and oversee mineral trading activities.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing team, while ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Assurance seamless operations across the “Development – Implementation – Transportation” value chain.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of mining industry experience in Indonesia, including 5 years in business development and team management.
Proven track record of delivering successful mining projects.
Strong understanding of Indonesian mining policies and business models.
Skilled in negotiation, resource integration, and relationship building.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Goal-oriented, resilient under pressure, and excellent at cross-departmental coordination.
