Role Summary

The Business Development Manager - APAC will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities within the region. This role requires a strong understanding of government procurement processes, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and navigate complex international markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies in key customers within the region.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and deliver against quarterly and annual booking targets.
  • Develop deep knowledge of government procurement policies, bidding processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government meetings—professional and respectful, valuing diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, legal, and operations, to develop and tailor offerings to meet the unique needs of government customers.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Cultivate long‑term strategic relationships with key government stakeholders, partners, and consultants.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform go‑to‑market strategies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience selling to international governments or public sector clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex, high‑value B2G sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of international government procurement, tendering, and contracting processes.
  • Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Law Enforcement and Government Intelligence agencies.
  • Experience working throughout APAC countries.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language(s) a strong asset.
