The role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including identifying and generating new business opportunities, qualifying prospects, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing engagements. It also requires developing and maintaining a structured pipeline and converting qualified prospects into long-term clients through effective business development and sales execution activities.
You will play a pivotal role in driving Acclime’s growth in Indonesia by identifying new business opportunities, closing deals, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. This is a market-focused role, with collaboration on multi-market opportunities that are led by the Regional Business Development (BD) Team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Proactively generate new leads and opportunities from target companies, events, and outbound outreach.
- Build and manage a strong referral partner network (law firms, banks, chambers of commerce, consultancies).
- Promote Acclime’s brand and services through networking events, webinars, and industry initiatives.
- Develop joint marketing and business development activities with referral partners.
- Keep up with the latest services that are being launched within Acclime and partake in the market education process.
- Explore new industries and client segments to drive future revenue growth within Indonesia.
Sales Execution
- Manage the complete sales process from qualification to signed contract, ensuring a professional and seamless client experience.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals and engagement letters using Ignition and HubSpot.
- Convert inbound leads and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Indonesia.
- Represent Acclime professionally in client relationships and deliver a solutions-driven experience.
- Contribute to sales reporting, pipeline accuracy, and forecasting for Indonesia.
Regional Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Regional BD team on multi-jurisdictional opportunities that involve Asean.
- Support cross-border referrals by sharing timely and accurate information with relevant markets.
- Participate in group-wide brand, sales, or business development initiatives when directed by the Regional BD team.
- Ensure alignment with group standards, messaging, and best practices across BD activities.
Key Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of business development or B2B sales experience, ideally in corporate services, professional services, or consulting.
- Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of securing new business.
- Excellent networking, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, persistent, and highly results-driven.
- Familiarity with corporate services, accounting, tax, payroll, or advisory services preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and digital sales tools.
