Business Function

Global Transaction Services (GTS) is a product division within DBS’ Institutional Banking Group (IBG). GTS is focused on the development and deployment of Cash Management (including collections, payments, liquidity management and transactional FX solutions), Documentary and Open Account Trade Finance, and Securities & Fiduciary products to the Bank’s IBG client base. GTS aspires to be recognized by clients and competitors as one of the top providers in DBS’ key markets, gaining market share through an ongoing process of efficiently matching clients’ changing business requirements with established and emerging product capabilities, and seamlessly onboarding clients onto these services.

Responsibilities
  • To lead and project manage the end-to-end Implementation process, acting as the single point of contact for clients throughout the implementation.
  • To ensure the following during implementation execution:
  • Ensure alignment of project scope and timeline with client.
  • Ensure documentation and application forms are completed correctly.
  • Guide clients on system integration specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure DBS test and production environment systems are correctly configured.
  • Have timeline oversight of system integration activities across all possible channels (IDEAL, H2H, API, SWIFTNET).
  • Facilitate system testing activities.
  • Ensure successful setup / deployment of GTS services in production.
  • Ensure successful end-to-end pilot transaction in production.
  • To perform effective project management and create associate project artifacts for the end-to-end process, covering:
  • Project Team organisation
  • Implementation scope confirmation
  • Project plan
  • Conduct of project meetings, including project minutes
  • To effectively communicate project updates to clients and internal stakeholders, and to obtain timely decision and support required to address project challenges.
  • To effectively manage stakeholder’s expectation
  • To proactively engage and support the client to achieve greater client satisfaction in the overall implementation process.
  • To have good discipline managing day to day non-core servicing activities such as technical query handling, additional services setup, additional virtual account creation, cash delivery instruction and monthly billing.
  • Becoming documentation champion and act as liaison for Group Documentation team in any T&C agreement, document or form change related to GTS product
Requirements
  • Degree, or higher is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in GTS Implementation or have led projects involving system integration with bank’s transaction banking systems.
  • Extensive knowledge on API, Host to host and SWIFT FileAct concept with encryption as standard security protocol.
  • Good knowledge of client ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, or Oracle. In-depth technical knowledge is not required.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of GTS products (Cash Management / Trade Finance / Supply Chain Financing / Securities Services) will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding on SNAP API Specification, certification process flow and documentation requirement is imperative.
  • Experience in Global documentation concept.
