A leading industrial equipment company in Indonesia seeks an Assistant Manager - Marketing to lead the Sales Engineer team in achieving sales targets. This role involves building strong relationships with key customers and providing technical solutions. Proven leadership experience and a background in the industrial sector, especially with Air Compressors, are essential. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in negotiation, proposal preparation, and team management. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Lead, manage, and develop the Sales Engineer team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, and new prospects.
Explore and maximize existing customer base to increase sales of company products (Air Compressors & related equipment).
Analyze customer needs, provide technical and commercial solutions, and ensure effective communication of product offerings.
Review, approve, and support preparation of sales proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract finalization.
Monitor sales pipeline, forecast sales performance, and report results to management.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (Service, Product Support, Marketing, and Management) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support and represent the company in marketing activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance, including providing regular feedback and training where necessary.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
Minimum 5 years of working experience as Sales Engineer, preferably in industrial/B2B market.
Proven experience as Team Leader / Supervisor in sales function is mandatory.
Strong skills in Sales, Dealing, Proposal Preparation, Presentation, Negotiation, and Follow Up at managerial level.
Strong knowledge of Air Compressors or industrial facilities/equipment such as HVAC, Generator, Boiler, or similar is a significant advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Having a strong network within related industrial sectors.
High integrity, professional attitude, and result-oriented mindset.
Possess a valid Driving License (SIM A).
