A leading healthcare company in Bali seeks an Assistant Finance, Accounting, and Tax Manager to oversee finance operations, including reporting, tax management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within a multinational corporation. Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems such as D365 or SAP is advantageous. This role requires solid problem-solving and communication skills in English.
Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, tax, treasury, and intercompany activities.
Perform hands‑on accounting tasks: prepare/post journals, maintain GL, update schedules, and ensure accuracy of all entries.
Manage AP, AR, fixed assets, cashbook, accruals, prepayments, and all sub‑ledgers.
Lead full month‑end closing, including journals, reconciliations, P&L analysis, and supporting schedules.
Drive year‑end closing and statutory reporting; ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all Balance Sheet accounts through regular reviews and reconciliations.
Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for Group, Regional, and internal stakeholders.
Analyse financial results, identify risks/opportunities, and provide insights for decision‑making.
Support business decisions with financial modelling, cost reviews, and performance analysis.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles; consolidate inputs and perform variance analysis.
Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury activities.
Prepare scenario analyses, financial projections, and management recommendations.
Coordinate audits, prepare audit schedules, and address technical queries.
Oversee tax calculations, documentation, and submissions in coordination with tax agents.
Manage corporate secretarial matters and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor overheads and CAPEX and track project costs.
Maintain financial systems; support upgrades, enhancements, and UAT.
Streamline processes, automate tasks, create and review SOPs.
Partner with Group/Regional Finance and cross‑functional teams on reporting, compliance, and operational matters.
Provide financial guidance to non‑finance stakeholders.
Manage documentation, filing, banking administration, payments, and stakeholder queries.
Support additional finance, commercial, or administrative responsibilities as needed in a lean setup.
*Reporting toFinancial Controller, ASEAN (based in Australia).
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, or a CPA/ACCA qualification, or an equivalent level of education.
Knowledge of local taxation laws, and working knowledge of business law principles.
Min 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles within a dynamic and fast‑paced company. Experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) is preferred.
High proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Prior auditing experience will be an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle) is an added advantage.
Proven ability to work independently while being able to build collaborative relationships to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with customers, clients and colleagues.
