Asset Supervisor
About the role
As an Asset Supervisor at PT Kaldu Sari Nabati Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company's fixed assets and inventory. This full‑time position is based in Majalengka, West Java, and will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of the company's physical assets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the asset management team to ensure accurate and timely tracking, recording, and reporting of the company's fixed assets and inventory.
- Conduct regular physical asset inspections and reconciliations to verify the existence, condition, and location of assets.
- Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the company's asset control and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance and operations teams on asset‑related matters, including asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
- Prepare and analyse asset reports, identifying any discrepancies or issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the procurement and IT teams to ensure the proper tagging, barcoding, and tracking of new assets.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process by providing accurate and timely information on asset‑related costs and projected capital expenditures.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in asset management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, including inventory control, fixed asset accounting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in the use of asset management software and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve asset‑related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date asset records.
- Willing to be placed in Majalengka (West Java) and available to work 6 days per week.
