About the role

Join our dynamic team at SOLUM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. as an Application Engineer. In this full-time position, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software applications. Based in Jakarta, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to our valued clients, ensuring their needs are met seamlessly.

What you'll be doing

• Identify customer technical requirements and conduct system analysis.
• Check and respond to customer ESL server issues.
• Monitor and analyze technical trends in the Indonesia market related to ESL (Electronic Shelf Labels).
• Address signage CMS (Content Management System) requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients, addressing their issues promptly and effectively.
• Analyse user requirements and translate them into functional software features.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and stability of our applications.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's Degree).
• Preferred experience in the ESL-related industry and SI (System Integration) roles.
• Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
