Job summary

A growing logistics technology company based in Jakarta is in search of an experienced Accountant to support daily accounting operations, assist with month-end and year-end processes, and maintain compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least 3 years of experience in the industry, and proficiency in accounting software like SAP or Oracle, along with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably as an Accounting Associate or Senior Accountant.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Previous experience in an Accounting Firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the accounting function.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Support financial reporting and consolidation activities, including data collection from subsidiaries/entities and intercompany reconciliations.

Ensure all accounting data is recorded accurately and on time.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors by preparing necessary documentation.

Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably as an Accounting Associate or Senior Accountant.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Previous experience in an Accounting Firm is a plus.

Previous experience in a Logistic Industry is a plus.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).

Experience in financial reporting and basic consolidation is an advantage.

Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Strong sense of integrity and accountability.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
