A global automation leader is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with over ten years of experience in finance and accounting. Key responsibilities include leading the finance function, ensuring compliance with regulations, financial analysis, and strategic leadership. The role requires a hands‑on Accounting & Finance Manager who is accountable for leading and directing all finance and risk management operations including but not limited to protecting and enhancing the organisation’s critical assets and financial health as follows:
Lead the country finance function and ensures an efficient and effective structure to provide a range of services to support multiple Omron Indonesia IAB business entity, including cash flow management, financial planning and analysis, treasury functions, finance operations and tax.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and communicates value, financial information and risk issues to Management.
Act as the financial performance manager for the business and serves as a quantitative thought partner to the Management in building the culture of controllership, accountability, compliance, integrity, discipline and quality in financial accounting and practices.
Responsible for driving change in the finance function organization at large.
The individual is operationally strong, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing and mentoring a small team.
Lead financial accounting, and corporate reporting function to ensure compliance with regulations.
Provide strategic business and financial leadership.
Ensure operational excellence to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Drive change in the finance function and continued enhancement of competencies for country finance function.
Support transformation projects in the region.
Ensure month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing of accounts are timely, accurate and in compliance with statutory requirements.
Group Chart of Accounts (GCOA) management for OEP‑ID.
Ensure transactions are correctly booked into correct Local Chart of Accounts (LCOA) and mapped to correct GCOA codes.
Manage new LCOA and GCOA codes created by OEP‑ID.
Analyse, review, and approve month‑end accruals and other accounting adjustments.
Coordinate with regional and global counterparts regarding relevant changes and updates in the accounting standards.
Knowledgeable in both IFRS (Preferred) and US GAAP.
Review monthly and quarterly adjustment entries in HFM (estimated to end after Mar 2026, FY25) & Starvis package files.
Ensure timely submission, uploading and transferring of monthly & quarterly package files in HFM & Starvis.
Perform financial analysis on group reports and financial statements.
Assist in the full US GAAP adoption in the HFM package files and parallel submission of IFRS package files in Stravis.
To standardize the reporting and controlling process of the OEP‑ID in terms of processes and policies to achieve work efficiency.
Preparation of budget and forecast requirements as well as discussions, deliberations, and finalisation of budget and forecast.
Review monthly, quarterly, annual Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing preparation and other tax requirements.
Coordinate and resolve with tax authorities any inquiries or assessments.
Coordinate with consultants on matters related to legal and tax requirements.
Coordinate and resolve issues with auditors – both internal and external – on internal control and statutory requirements.
Manage compliance requirements pertaining to J‑SOX audits (internal & external).
Provide financial analysis on the cashflow, operating expenses, and overall business performance for Omron Indonesia business entities.
Provide financial analysis on proposed project initiatives.
Review the monitoring, recording, and reporting of assets for OEP‑ID.
Promote workplace improvement by identifying areas for enhancement process efficiencies and creating process improvements such as dashboards, performance templates, etc.
