A leading furniture company in Semarang is seeking a professional responsible for maintaining communication with suppliers and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, a Bachelor's Degree related to the field, and over two years of experience in the furniture industry. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, reviewing production specifications, and developing corrective action plans for quality issues. This role mandates a high level of organization and the ability to work proactively.

Qualifications

  • More than two years of furniture industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in and documents discussions during client meetings.
  • Responsible for reviewing samples and verifying production specs.
  • Receives and distributes Purchase orders and expedites responses.
  • Processes internal information requests through email.
  • Develops and maintains understanding of assigned vendor’s products.
  • Proactively communicates with clients daily.
  • Coordinates shipments and arranges consolidations.
  • Reviews Quality Issues and develops Corrective Action Plans.
  • Serves as product inspector as needed.

Job description

Responsible for maintaining communication with suppliers, peers and Headquarters to ensure smooth flow of information and goods.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Participates in and documents discussions during client meetings and conference calls.
  • Responsible for reviewing samples, swatches and verifying production specs
  • Receives and distributes Purchase orders and expedites responses on delivery estimates and timelines indicated on Pro Forma
  • Processes internal information requests through email and Grovesite
  • Develops and maintains a working-level understanding of assigned vendor’s products and procedures.
  • Proactively communicating with clients daily in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Coordinates Shipments and arranges consolidations as needed
  • Reviews Quality Issues and Develops Corrective Action Plans
  • Serves as product inspector as need arises

Candidate Profile
