• Project Management: Oversee smaller projects independently and collaborate on larger projects as part of a team.
• Design: Utilize 3D modelling to design machinery and plant layouts, focusing on fabricated sheet‑metal products.
• Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to Machinery Directives and health & safety requirements.
• Budgeting: Manage budgets for equipment, materials, and labour hours.
• Collaboration: Liaise with sub‑contractors, production, and assembly teams.
• Site Visits: Conduct measurements and client consultations on site.
• Documentation: Create Bill of Materials (BOMs), costings, and installation manuals.

• Growth Opportunities: Pathways to progress within the business.
• Training: Internal and external training, including SolidWorks courses for those unfamiliar with the software.

• Experience: Mechanical Design Engineer with strong structural and sheet‑metal fabrication knowledge, steel manufacturing, and heavy machinery design.
