Contract Mechanical Supervisor – Energy from Waste

A prestigious industrial contractor operating in environment, defence and energy sectors are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor with a Health, Safety & Environment background, working on a waste treatment and recovery plant project in London.

Our client is a major contractor within the construction & engineering industry with over 100 years’ experience, with a current turnover of over £500m.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining health, safety & environment, assisting the site manager with task delegation and supervision. We require an experienced and skilled technician to undertake a range of detailed maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• NEBOSH qualified
• SSSTS qualified
• Detailed knowledge and background in HSE projects
• Experience supervising projects from initial concept, through design, selection of subcontractors where necessary, to management on site, and handover to the client, including the financial management of the projects
• Temporary Works / Scaffold experience. Experience with cladding, lift installation, scaffolding installation.

This is a 3-month contract with a competitive day rate. The company is working on other major projects around the U.K., therefore, there is a possibility for contract extension.
