We are currently recruiting an outstanding Distribution Centre Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced senior management team. As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will have the autonomy and responsibility for the day-to-day site management of your depot.

Additionally, you will be accountable for:

• Achieving all depot objectives related to health & safety, security, productivity, transport, and cost
• Delivering outstanding service to our customers with a team driven to excel
• Providing a safe and healthy environment for your team
• Encouraging a competitive environment with clear productivity and service targets
• Managing the depot's P&L through effective planning and reporting

What we’re looking for

• Experience in logistics or distribution industry, managing large, fast-paced, 24/7 operations with a daily throughput of 25,000+ and a workforce over 250 employees
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence strategy and liaise with directors
• Decisive and effective decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment
• A passion for building and motivating high-performing teams
• Problem-solving skills, resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility
• Demonstration of DPD core values: Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and Accountability
• Availability to work any 5 shifts including weekends, as our depots operate 365 days a year
• Full UK driving license is essential
