Job summary
A leading cleaning service provider is seeking a part-time Warehouse Cleaning Operative in Preston. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients and customers. The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, outstanding organisational skills, and a flexible working approach. This position offers 20 hours per week at £12.50 per hour.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and hygienic environments for clients and customers.
- Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum areas to high standards.
- Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
- Perform additional duties like mopping up spillages as needed.
- Empty and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

- Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
- Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
- Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
- Emptying and disposing of bin waste
- Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
- Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a hands-on role
- Have had cleaning experience in a similar role
