- Lead & Deliver: Manage a portfolio of R&D clients, oversee projects, and prepare claims for HMRC submission.
- Engage & Advise: Build strong client relationships, liaise with HMRC, and provide tax technical guidance on R&D.
- Develop Talent: Supervise junior team members, keep senior stakeholders updated, and foster a collaborative culture.
- Drive Growth: Spot new opportunities, contribute to pitches, and play a key role in expanding our ICI practice.
- Must possess an ACA/CA/ACCA/ATT/CTA (or international equivalent) or Tax Inspector with full technical training.
- Strong expertise in UK R&D tax incentives, including claim preparation and submission.
- Proven project management skills, able to handle multiple live projects and workloads effectively.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, engaging stakeholders and producing clear reports and advice notes.
- Leadership ability to coach, delegate, and develop junior team members within the ICI practice.
- Analytical mindset with numerical skills; knowledge of related tax areas (Patent Box, corporate tax) desirable.
