Assay Development Scientist - NGS & Spatial Genomics
Job summary
A leading bioplatform innovation company in Peterborough is seeking a motivated Assay Development Scientist. In this role, you'll drive innovation in NGS workflows and lead the implementation of advanced technologies for somatic genomics. You should have a BSc or MSc in a relevant field and at least 8 years of experience in NGS research. The ideal candidate will excel in project management and have a proven record of developing novel solutions for complex challenges. Competitive salary offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years' post-graduation experience in NGS workflow research and development and/or spatial genomics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A high degree of energy, accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bench-based experiments.
- Drive innovation in core NGS library preparation methods.
- Lead piloting and implementation of spatial biology/single-cell platforms.
