Type: Full Time, Permanent We are pleased to offer this role as a Trainee or Qualified position. If you have solid roofing experience and are looking for a new career path, this is a great opportunity to train as an Assessor for Roofing Apprenticeships. Full training and support to gain the required teaching qualifications will be provided.
- Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeships in Roofing (level 2), delivering either: Waterproof and Membrane, Slating and Tiling or Sheeting and Cladding
- Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills – Maths, English and ICT to level 2.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
- Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Must hold solid occupational competency within Roofing (specifically waterproof, membrane, slating and tiling or Sheeting and Cladding)
- Ideally hold (or willing to work towards) a recognised teaching/assessing qualification: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
