Performing Arts Tutor (Vocals & Drama) - Inspire, Mentor & Create in Islington

A specialist SEMH Performing Arts School in Islington is looking for an experienced and passionate tutor to guide students through the final stages of their Level 2 and Level 3 vocational qualifications. You\'ll work collaboratively with senior performing arts staff, helping students refine their work, develop performance skills, and prepare for assessments and moderation.

• Work in a specialist performing arts setting where students with SEN, SEMH, and social anxiety rediscover their confidence through music, drama, and production.
• Support students in their final stages of vocational qualifications, playing a key role in their success.
• Collaborate with senior performing arts staff, ensuring students produce high-quality work for their awards and diplomas.
• Engage with all aspects of performance and production, from voice training to stagecraft, helping students showcase their talents.
• Develop your own skills in assessment and moderation - training will be provided.

• Deliver vocals-focused performing arts sessions, incorporating drama to enhance student performance and confidence.
• Support students in developing and finalising their vocational project work.
• Assist in assessment preparation and evidence collation for moderation.
• Adapt to the individual needs of students with SEN and SEMH, using creative approaches to engagement.
• Encourage students to embrace all aspects of performing arts, helping them build well-rounded skills.
