Job summary

A leading training organization in the UK is seeking a Vocational/Employability Tutor to empower and mentor the next generation. In this role, you will deliver engaging training sessions, assess learner work, and develop industry-relevant curricula. You should possess a recognised teaching qualification and have a passion for helping learners succeed. This position comes with generous benefits, including 25 days of holiday, paid mileage, and opportunities for professional development.

  • 🎯 Deliver Dynamic Training – Plan and deliver fun, interactive sessions that keep learners engaged and motivated.
  • 📝 Assess & Feedback – Mark learner work, provide constructive feedback, and set SMART goals to help them progress.
  • 📚 Develop the Curriculum – Keep our programs fresh and industry-relevant, ensuring learners get real-world skills.
  • 🤝 Support & Mentor – Be a role model, helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
  • 📊 Keep Records Up to Date – Maintain accurate learner progress, attendance, and assessments (we promise, just the important stuff!).
  • 🤩 Work as a Team – Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • 🚀 Stay Ahead of the Game – Engage in continuous professional development to keep your skills sharp and relevant.
✅ What You Need to Bring to the Table ✅
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
  • A passion for helping people succeed
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills (because engagement is key!)
  • Confidence with IT (for record-keeping & lesson planning)
  • 💡 Bonus points if you’ve worked as an Employability Tutor before (but not essential!)
💰 Salary & Hours

Our opening hours are: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
