A group of companies in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly skilled AGM / Manager (Tax) to oversee all tax-related matters. You will ensure compliance, manage tax planning, and liaise with authorities. Strong experience in tax regulations is required, along with the ability to lead and mentor a tax team. This role involves handling audits, filing, and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

Responsabilités
- Manage overall tax function including Income Tax, VAT, AIT, TDS, and Customs issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax returns filing and assessments.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and handle audits and disputes.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AGM / Manager (Tax) to oversee all tax-related matters for our Group of Companies. The incumbent will ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage tax planning, and liaise with relevant authorities to minimize risks and optimize the company's tax position.
- Manage overall tax function of the Group including Income Tax, VAT, AIT, TDS, and Customs-related issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax returns filing, assessments, and appeals.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance, VAT Act & Rules, and NBR regulations.
- Handle corporate tax audits, assessments, and disputes with tax authorities.
- Provide guidance to management on tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments.
- Supervise and review tax records, computations, and documentation for accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
- Keep updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the tax team to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
