Job summary
A leading technology firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chief Technical Specialist in Power Electronics to drive innovation in electrified propulsion systems. This role involves leading the design and development of advanced power conversion systems and representing the organization at industry forums. The ideal candidate has proven expertise in power electronics, excellent mentoring skills, and a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. Qualifications
- Proven track record in high-voltage, high-power design, including SiC, IGBT, GaN devices.
- Strong experience in EMC design and compliance standards.
- Experience with electric motor technologies and thermal/EMC simulation tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of power electronics solutions.
- Define technology strategies and roadmaps in electrification.
- Support proposals and customer engagement with deep technical expertise.
