With an average 4-day working week (34.5 hours), this role aligns with the customers delivery periods—offering more working time during operations and increased rest periods during quieter spells. During non-delivery periods you will be re‑deployed to assist with GBRf freight business.

• Competitive Salary: £70,889 per year for a 34.5‑hour week

• Qualified Freight Train Driverswith a passion for excellence
• Valid UK/EU Train Driver Licenceand full UK driving licence
• Strong route and traction knowledge (desirable)
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
• Impeccable safety record and professional standards
• Calm under pressure, with strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Proficient with IT systems (Word, Outlook, iPad apps)
• Must reside within 45 minutes of your designated depot
