Job description

Position Overview

An exciting position has become available within a well-established accountancy firm with offices based in Milton Keynes & Peterborough. An ideal candidate will be working closely with the directors of the company across both offices.

Responsibilities

Leading from the front, you will have a hands‑on role, and be expected to focus on customer retention and business development within the accountancy practice and the wider network, whilst proactively seeking potential opportunities to build the client base along with a willingness to undertake assignments when necessary.

This is a fabulous general practice accountancy position with well‑rounded responsibilities. Of course you will have a strong background in accountancy practice and be well versed in accounts production and tax compliance for a range of entities. You will also have experience in onboarding clients and building and maintaining great client relationships, managing WIP and allocating work to the team.

You will ensure that clients are happy and provide excellent customer service throughout their journey, ensuring they are onboarded well and regular communication is professional and friendly throughout.

Qualifications

Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/AAT Qualified with a solid background in accountancy practice and be keen to progress your career.
