The ideal candidate will be ATT/CTA qualified or have relevant experience in accountancy. Qualifications

• Familiar with a range of accountancy software, training provided.
• Background in an accountancy firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Personal Tax Returns are completed accurately and on time.
• File with HMRC.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary information.

ProTalent are currently working with a well-established Top 20 accountancy firm in Maidstone to recruit a Tax Executive on a part time basis (three or four days)

The firm:

• Well-established accountancy firm with a network of offices
• Provide a full range of accountancy services to a wide range of clients
• Friendly working environment
• Offering flexibility in terms of working hours, smart working etc

The Tax Executiverole:

• Ensuring that Personal Tax Returns are completed accurately and within deadlines
• Filing with HMRC
• Liaising with clients to ensure all information is present and correct
• Solving any queries

The successful Tax Executiveapplicant:

• Be ATT/CTA qualified or part qualified. although applicants with AAT/ACCA/ACA with a keen interest in Tax will be considered.
• Be comfortable preparing self assessment tax returns
• Familiar with a range of accountancy software, although full software training will be provided
• Will have a background in an accountancy firm
• High attention to detail
• Methodical approach
