A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic midwife to join the outpatient maternity team, focusing on clinical midwifery and ensuring an excellent work-life balance. Responsibilities include antenatal care, conducting screening tests, and overseeing operational procedures in obstetric clinics. We are looking for an enthusiastic midwife to join our outpatient maternity team, working in our day assessment unit and also antenatal clinics. This role offers a dynamic mix of clinical midwifery alongside excellent work‑life balance.
We operate from three main hospitals – Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal – as well as community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. Additionally, local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
