Zusammenfassung
A community support organization is seeking a Personal Assistant in Dartford to help a child with various activities and personal needs. The role includes collecting the child from home, supporting them during outings, and ensuring their safety. Ideal candidates should have experience with disabled children, possess a full driving license, and be understanding of autism. Pay is £12.21 per hour with flexible hours during term and non-term times.
Qualifikationen
- Experience working with disabled children is preferred.
- Full driving licence with business insurance required.
- DBS Check will be completed.
Aufgaben
- Collect the child from home and take them to activities.
- Support participation in swimming, park visits, and other activities.
- Assist with feeding and personal needs.
- Ensure the safety of the child at all times.

I am looking for someone who can provide support and assistance to enable my child to access the community and achieve their full potential.
The candidate would ideally collect my child from their home near Dartford and take my child to an arranged activity. Also times of sitting with my child at home.
- Collect my child from home in Dartford and take them to arranged activities.
- Support my child to take part in activities such as swimming, going to the park/swings, soft play, trampolining, and listening to music.
- Assist with feeding and drinking.
- Assist with dressing/undressing if appropriate.
- Assist with toileting and changing pads.
- Assist with all personal needs.
- Help with transitioning around the community.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with my child and us as parents, maintaining confidentiality.
- Always ensure the safety of my child.
- Experience with working with disabled children.
- Imagination in relation to activities to undertake.
- Good sense of humour and positive attitude.
- Flexible, reliable, and honest.
- Physically fit, agile, and energetic.
- Understanding of autism essential.
- Full driving licence with business insurance within your policy.
- DBS Check will be completed.
Location: Dartford
Number of PA roles available: 1
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Term Time: 8 hours per week; Non-Term Time: 14 hours per week
