A community support charity in the UK seeks compassionate individuals to deliver care and support for those with learning disabilities. You will enhance their independence and assist with daily living activities. Responsibilities include supporting recreational activities, planning meals, and providing personal care. Experience in care is welcome but not essential; a caring attitude and commitment to our values are key. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in people's lives.
We are looking for motivated, caring and compassionate people to join our team in Toynton All Saints near Spilsby. We have a well‑established hub working in place for our residential and community supported living services. After training, guidance and support you may be required to travel to a number of local services within the hub to meet the needs of the people we support.
You will be delivering care and support to enhance the independence skills of people with learning disabilities, whilst giving them choice and control over their own lives. As well as supporting the day‑to‑day aspects of daily life you will support people to pursue their interests.
We welcome applications from people who work in other areas of the care sector (such as elderly care) or those with no experience of care. Previous experience is not as important as sharing our values and being able to demonstrate them, as well as your desire to make a difference to the lives of the people we support.
As an employer, we are proud to be accredited as a Disability Confident Employer.
Please note that successful candidate(s) will be asked to evidence their Right to Work in the UK post‑job offer.
You will be joining a 600+ team of staff and volunteers working county wide in the Lincoln, Spilsby, Skegness, Louth, Alford, Mablethorpe, Beverley and Grimsby areas.
We are a learning disabilities charity and a values‑based organisation.
