Job summary

A support service provider is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant for a young individual with ASD and ADHD in Merthyr Tydfil. The role involves facilitating social interactions and independence through engaging activities like swimming, gym visits, and attending clubs. Candidates must be friendly, patient, and possess a good understanding of special needs. Training is provided, and the position offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 6 hours weekly at £14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with ASD and ADHD.
• Ability to engage in various activities to promote social interaction.
• Willingness to drive and has access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Take the client to places of interest.
• Attend afterschool clubs with the client.
• Find local groups or activities for the client.
• Accompany the client swimming and to gym activities.
• Engage in hillside walks and fishing.
• Go to the cinema with the client.
