The purpose of the appointment is to lead the financial strategy and operational financial management of Derby High School, ensuring long-term sustainability, value for money and robust compliance. Reporting to the Head, you will be a member of the senior leadership team, the role will actively contribute to strategic planning, risk management and operational efficiency.

The new Director of Finance will be a hands-on and proactive qualified accountant who possesses experience of leading the finance team of a multi-dimensional business. The need to demonstrate the development of MIS, processes, and systems improvement to enhance the ability to make informed decisions, support a broad range colleagues and provide comfort to the board that there is visible accountability and compliance.
