We are seeking a proactive and organised Student Administration Assistant to join Bangor University’s Student & Academic Services Directorate, providing high‑quality administrative and frontline support to students throughout their academic journey. In this varied role, you’ll maintain accurate records, respond to enquiries in person, by phone, and online, assist with exams and awards processes, and help deliver key events such as open days and graduation. You’ll work collaboratively across the University to ensure smooth service delivery, always maintaining a professional, student‑centred approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to speak Welsh confidently are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive, bilingual community where your work directly enhances the student experience.
Candidates should be educated to GCSE level or NVQ level II in an appropriate subject (e.g. Customer Service or Business Administration) or possess equivalent experience.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work‑life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
