Job summary
A leading technology recruiter is seeking a Senior Software Developer in London to work on trading systems. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in C# and .NET, along with experience in SQL Server and database technologies. This role offers the chance to work on greenfield projects in a collaborative environment. A BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics is required.

Senior Software Developers specialising in trading systems required for an excellent client based in London. The successful Software Developer will join a highly talented development team and will be involved in creating and maintaining our client's applications based on a C#/.NET/SQL Server/ASP.NET universe. Many projects are greenfield, allowing you to make your mark early on. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies and will be expected to produce excellent code for in-house software applications and the trading platform.
Our client offers a very collaborative working environment with the development team coming from excellent educational backgrounds from across Europe. This role is within the sports trading industry, so any candidate should have an interest in the industry or experience within it. This is predominantly an office-based role. In addition to very competitive salaries, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of trading system applications using C#/.NET, SQL Server, and ASP.NET.
- Work on greenfield projects and shape the development approach and architecture early in the process.
- Collaborate with a skilled development team to deliver high-quality software for in-house applications and the trading platform.
- Adopt and apply new technologies as appropriate to enhance the product and development process.
- Strong experience with C# and the latest .NET platform.
- Database experience with SQL Server.
- Experience with WPF, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of working with trading platforms.
- Modelling experience and a high level aptitude for technology.
- Education to at least a BSc level or higher in Computer Science or Mathematics from a Russell Group University or equivalent.
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
- Multithreaded application development.
- Understanding of Windows technologies.
