Job summary
A local authority in Greater Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to provide legal support on various contracts and procurement matters. This part-time role involves working independently within a small team to manage a diverse caseload. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years PQE in local authority procurement. The position offers remote work flexibility with occasional office attendance required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years PQE in contracts and procurement work for a local authority.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and public sector procurement.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on services contracts and procurement.
- Work closely with client departments to ensure compliance and effective delivery.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contractual documents.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Legal Services team.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and governance requirements.
