Job summary
A local authority support agency is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to handle education prosecution matters. The role offers hybrid working and competitive umbrella rates ranging from £50 to £55 per hour, with a contract length of 3 months. Ideal candidates will possess strong litigation skills and be ready to deliver clear legal advice on various disputes. Excellent advocacy and communication skills are essential for this position.

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based inDorset, which needs an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team and handle predominately education prosecutions matters.
Role: Litigation Solicitor
Location: Dorset - hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55ph
PAYE Rate (Inclusive of holiday): £44.10 - £48.44ph
Contract length: 3 months ongoing
- Deliver clear, timely legal advice on litigation and dispute resolution.
- Prepare and conduct litigation, including advocacy where appropriate.
- Advise on risk, pre-action protocols, and settlement options.
- A Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with strong litigation/dispute resolution experience.
- Able to meet travel requirements.
- Excellent advocacy, communication, and drafting skills.
- Weekly pay - rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
- Hybrid working.
- Flexible hours.
