Are you an ambitious, client-focused junior contentious probate solicitor ready to make your mark in a leading Thames Valley practice? Our client, a long-standing regional law firm with offices across the Thames Valley, is seeking an NQ to 2PQE solicitor to join its thriving Contentious Probate team.

What You'll Do
  • Take ownership of a varied caseload alongside two experienced partners, guiding estates and inheritance disputes from start to finish.
  • Lead initial client calls, gather case details, and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
  • Uphold rigorous quality and compliance standards, delivering an exceptional level of client care.
  • Promote the full suite of services, identifying opportunities to support clients across practice areas.
  • Mentor and supervise trainee solicitors, sharing your expertise to foster their development.
  • Contribute to business development and networking initiatives, helping the team grow and strengthen its market reputation.

The ideal candidate will be 0-2 PQE and thrive on client engagement, combining outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proactive initiative. As a collaborative team player, you bring integrity, professionalism and approachability to every matter, and you're adept at forging new relationships and spotting business-development opportunities that drive both client satisfaction and firm growth.
