The Role

The firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ+) to join its Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team, handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The role offers high-quality work, early responsibility, and direct client contact, with clear opportunities for development and progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
  • Managing contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims
  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues
  • Drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies, and procedures
  • Advising on dismissals, redundancy processes, and restructures
  • Advising on and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Supporting senior team members on complex and strategic matters
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ+)
  • Solid grounding in employment law gained during training or post-qualification
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
