Job summary
A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Service User Engagement Lead to join their West Yorkshire team. This part-time role involves managing staff and volunteers, developing training, and ensuring service user engagement is integral to service delivery. Candidates should have experience in training programme development and volunteer management. The position offers a salary of £33,854-£38,444 full-time equivalent, based on experience, and requires a legal right to work in the UK.

Practice Plus Group is expanding its Health in Justice service line into non‑custodial healthcare. We are looking for a Service User Engagement Lead to join our team in West Yorkshire.
Part time: 22.5 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 3 days). Salary: £33,854‑£38,444 full‑time equivalent, depending on experience.
- Manage paid staff and volunteers who have lived experience of the criminal justice system.
- Develop and deliver peer mentor training to prospective volunteers.
- Ensure Service User Engagement is embedded into all aspects of service delivery.
- Work alongside senior leadership teams to keep lived experience integral to the service we offer.
- Report to the Regional Service User Engagement Lead.
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes.
- Skilled in the coordination, supervision, and management of volunteers and paid staff.
- Strong administrative and IT capabilities, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Strong report‑writing and documentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding practices and risk management procedures.
