Principal Structural Engineer – Submarine Structures (Hybrid)
Job summary
BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to analyze and design complex steel structures for submarine builds in Barrow-in-Furness. This role requires strong expertise in Eurocodes and British Standards, alongside an Engineering Degree and Chartered Engineer status. - Engineering Degree BEng/MEng or equivalent experience.
- Chartered Engineer CEng Status or nearing CEng Status.
- Expertise in structural steel analysis and design.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and Design of complex steel structures.
- Responsible for approvals, checking analysis and outputs.
- Support production of concept drawings and technical outputs.
