Our client is seeking a talented individual for the Trading, Executions and Accounting role within their Investment Management and Accounting team. This position serves a dual purpose, providing vital investment support while also managing company accounting responsibilities. The role is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The successful candidate will play a key part in monitoring trades, liaising with brokers, and ensuring compliance with investment strategies and regulations. With a focus on both trading execution and accounting, this position is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and investment performance of the company.

• Review underlying holdings and positioning on a daily basis
• Monitor cash flows and their impact on sub-fund and portfolio positioning
• Understand sub-funds' investment restrictions, propose trades, and prepare trade sheets considering execution costs, liquidity profiles, and compliance
• Peer review and prepare trade sheets for colleague review
• Liaise with brokers for timely trade execution
• Book trades on the custodian's system based on contract notes received
• Ensure timely trade settlement and investigate failed trades with brokers and custodians
• Support the implementation and monitoring of strategies across various sub-funds
• Adjust portfolios to align with clients' objectives
• Assist in developing new investment ideas and strategies for portfolio inclusion
• Actively participate in investment committees and comparative analysis of peer portfolios
• Prepare investment proposals for existing and new clients
• Present investment recommendations to senior management and clients
• Develop performance reports and present findings on investments
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and relevant news impacting the investment landscape
• Maintain and update portfolio databases and reports
• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly investment packs for stakeholders
• Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions or investment opportunities
• Maintain the accounting records for the company and prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Process payment instructions and calculate/cross-check fees
• Prepare group and subsidiary cell financial statements
• Liaise with auditors to complete the audit process
• Compile and complete regulatory surveys for the relevant authorities in consultation with the client service provider
• Assist with tax returns and computations
• Prepare solvency tests, ANLA calculations, and capital adequacy requirements
• Manage the office premises and maintain petty cash
• Oversee staff leave applications, leave balances, and staff assistance
• Liaise with clients and/or service providers to keep them updated
• Maintain office stock and manage orders

• Relevant Commerce qualification
• Pursuing ACCA; CFA will be advantageous
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in the financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of portfolio management, fixed income, derivative pricing, and trading
• Proficiency in advanced Excel
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of numerical reasoning and effective decision-making
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong personal accountability and a hardworking attitude
• Ability to thrive under pressure and make decisions in high-stress situations
