Overview of role

The Change Management Office (CMO) team is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the project landscape across the UK Wealth Management business. This includes contributing to, and active project management of, larger strategic business or regulatory changes and the coordination and reporting of smaller, business delivered, tactical initiatives.

The role of a CMO Business Analyst is varied as it could be to support project managers within the CMO team who are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, or you could be asked to lead specific projects yourself including coordinating the input of subject matter experts from across the business and contributing to business or technical initiatives. Subjects range from regulatory change to IT and platform initiatives, to changes driven by strategic decisions in connection with markets and service offerings.

The role will involve a degree of exposure to senior management at a local and divisional level and will require collaboration with the business’ wider change community to identify and resolve challenges and maximise opportunities. The role is based in London, but periodic travel to Switzerland may expected.

  • End-to-end change management and business analysis of a number of projects across the CMO team portfolio, including undertaking activities such as business case analysis, requirements definition and solution design, IT delivery management, UAT management and business process change management.
  • Undertake thorough analysis and documentation to ensure requirements are robust to enable informed decision making to occur.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure that solution design is robust and meets the agreed set of requirements by working with relevant subject matter expertise.
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts and IT Leads to create High-Level Design Documents and Low-Level Design Documents.
  • Project delivery tracking and reporting, ensuring project schedule is maintained and issues and risks are appropriately identified, managed and escalated.
  • Produce materials for senior management decision-making or updates within the context of the project delivery.
  • Producing presentations and other written materials for the COO and for management committees in multiple business locations; assisting with business analysis and the reporting of management information.
