What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be a senior member of the residential development team, advising developer clients across the full lifecycle of their projects.

  • Handling strategic site acquisitions and disposals
  • Advising on conditional contracts, options and promotion agreements
  • Negotiating planning and Section 106 arrangements
  • Managing infrastructure and utilities agreements
  • Overseeing plot sales and ongoing site disposals
  • Working closely with partners on significant matters while taking ownership of your own portfolio
  • Building relationships with developer clients and contributing to the team’s continued growth

This is a role for someone who enjoys complex transactional work, client contact, and operating as a trusted adviser within a busy and well‑resourced team.

About You

You’ll be confident managing sophisticated residential development matters and comfortable handling a high‑value, varied caseload.

  • 5+ PQE in residential development or residential property with relevant exposure
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to progress matters proactively
  • Clear, confident communication with clients, stakeholders and colleagues
  • Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and multiple transactions
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior lawyers where needed
