Job summary
A leading legal firm in Greater London is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to cover Commercial, HR, and Facilities legal functions. The ideal candidate will be a UK-qualified solicitor with 5-8 years' experience in commercial and employment law, and US law experience. This role involves drafting contracts, advising on compliance, and managing property legal issues. The position requires 5 days in-office initially, reducing to 4 days post-probation. Competitive salary offered.

Legal Counsel
Greater London – £90,000 - £100,000
The role will cover Commercial, HR, and Facilities legal functions and will involve both internal legal management and collaboration with external counsel as needed.
Please note: The role requires 5 days in-office from their West London location. After the probation period, this will reduce to 4 days in-office per week.
- Draft, review, and negotiate client and vendor contracts

- Handle employment matters, including contracts, disputes, and HR policies
- Manage property-related legal issues and regulatory compliance
- Serve as primary legal resource and oversee external counsel relationships
- Implement cost-effective legal solutions and risk management strategies
- UK-qualified solicitor with 5-8 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong background in commercial law and employment law
- US law experience essential
- International experience is a plus
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
