A premium retail brand is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage supplier relationships and control costs. You will work closely with international suppliers, especially in China, and negotiate terms to ensure quality compliance. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of experience in buying and be commercially astute with advanced analytical skills. The role offers a hybrid working environment with competitive salary and bonus.
This is an exceptionally exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, premium brand that is scaling rapidly. With clear strategic plans already in place for the next 18 - 24 months and ambitious expansion targets over the next two to five years, the company is investing heavily in its people, products, and processes.
The business is seeking an experienced Buyer with deep expertise in sourcing goods and sub-components within the outdoor & lifestyle sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and ensuring quality and compliance across a global supply chain, with a strong emphasis on Chinese manufacturing and FOB purchasing.
This is not a static buying role; it's one for someone savvy, commercially sharp, and unafraid to challenge. As the right candidate you will always seek the best possible deal without compromising quality with balancing premium standards with fair, transparent costings. You'll thrive in negotiations, understand the value of partnership with suppliers, tender programmes and bring energy, curiosity, and rigour to every commercial decision you make.
