Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Buyer in the Construction/Utilities sector.
• Strong character, comfortable challenging supply chain and colleagues at all levels.
• Commitment to carrying out purchasing duties in line with the CIPS Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs as a Buyer.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Manage critical path items through to delivery.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders.
