EHS Manager - Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Job summary
A market-leading manufacturing business seeks an accomplished EHS Manager based in Newton Aycliffe. The role involves overseeing EHS programs and compliance, managing team performance, and enhancing safety culture. Candidates should possess NEBOSH and IEMA qualifications and ideally have 5 years' experience in health and safety within a manufacturing or chemical sector. A competitive salary package of £45,000 - £52,000 per annum is offered along with additional benefits.

- 5 years of relevant experience in a health and safety role.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or chemical environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Promote and drive EHS improvements for staff engagement.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans.
- Educate and train staff in EHS practices.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and recommend necessary adjustments.
