A youth sports organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Youth Soccer Travel Coach. In this role, you will engage with children and their families while conducting soccer sessions. Key responsibilities include setup of activities, effective communication with stakeholders, and imparting technical training. Super Soccer Stars is seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Soccer Travel Coach to join our team. As a Youth Soccer Travel Coach, you will be the face and front line of Super Soccer Stars in each class, interacting with parents, teachers, directors, club board members, and children on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include assisting and teaching energetic and motivating travel soccer sessions, connecting and challenging each child, and inspiring a love of soccer in a fun, team-based environment. You will also effectively and clearly communicate any issues to the office and provide solutions, show up on time to classes, set up and break down equipment, and provide hands-on individual and group attention to children. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical and tactical training to all players.
To be successful in this role, you must have your own reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 45 minutes one-way to get to class locations. Candidates are recommended to be fully vaccinated upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions. Punctuality, a willingness to learn and accept feedback, and experience in or a strong desire to work in a travel club environment are also important. Prior experience working with children is preferred, and you must be a motivated, energetic and patient individual. A coaching license is mandatory and you must have availability during weekday afternoons (3 pm - 9 pm) and must be able to work one weekend morning (8:30 am - 1 pm).
