Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical design for building services through multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and electrical design software (Amtech).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical engineering design services to a high technical standard.
  • Undertake fee-earning work, including detailed design on projects.
  • Assist in developing cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Meet with clients to define project briefs.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and drawings.
  • Review tenders and prepare technical reports.
  • Manage and monitor site works from inception to completion.
  • Conduct inspections of existing installations.
  • Support monthly invoicing and meet fee targets.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The Role

We are currently recruiting an Intermediatecow Electrical Engineer to join our M&E team in Nottingham. This role involves delivering high‑quality electrical engineering design and consultancy services across a variety of building projects. You will play a key part in designing and managing electrical systems to ensure compliance with technical standards, client requirements and budget constraints.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the work undertaken, successful applicants will need to have active UK SC clearance or be able to obtain UK SC clearance. Further information can be found here.

Selected Candidate Will
  • Deliver electrical engineering design services to a high technical standard on time and within budget.
  • Undertake fee‑earning work, including detailed design and technical input on projects.
  • Assist in developing cost‑effective engineering solutions.
  • Meet with clients to define project briefs and budget expectations.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and drawings in line with client requirements.
  • Review tenders and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
  • Manage and monitor site worksTAG FROM inception to completion.
  • Conduct inspections of existing installations and produce condition reports.
  • Support monthly invoicing and meet fee targets. decorative.
  • Use Amtech, AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, policies and guidelines.
Essential Skills, Experience and Attributes
  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical design for building services through multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and electrical design software (Amtech).
